ANZAC Day is one of Australia’s most important dates as it commemorates the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand armed forces during the First World War. Every year, on 25th of April, Australians commemorate the binding friendship that was formed between the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps on the beaches of Gallipoli in 1915. On this day, the spirit of ANZAC was born.
